This was one of the most demoralizing doctor visits I've ever had. Went in with my 3 year old. Office was nice and staff was very friendly. They took us to the examination room to wait for the doctor.When Dr. Laurance showed up he didn't even introduce himself, just appeared in the doorway and said 'can you put her there?' pointing to a scale in the hall. He made literally ZERO effort to speak to my child AT ALL. He talked at me without eye contact for about 10 minutes, prattling off a rote memorized script while scribbling ... read more

I've been going to Dr Spears since 1997 (23 years now) and he is an awesome physician. He's always given me and my wife great treatment, very knowledgeable. He takes good care of his patients and the office is always a friendly place to be.
My son had h-pylori. He was 15 and had been through several treatments with his PCP. Dr laurance cleared him up quickly, and followed up several times to make sure he felt good. He continues to treat him and has a very good rapport with my son.
As a pediatric gastroenterology he doesn't have the touch and the patience to treat kids. Unfortunately I had a bad experience and this is the last time I will see him. He was rushing and telling me to keep my 2 year old calm ,anybody who have a kid of this age knows how hard is doing this. For me he is not a professional doctor.
