Summit Medical Group has taken great care of me...My surgeons did a wonderful job on my surgery... My Chemo Dr and nurse were great during my Chemotherapy treatment!!! The best Drs and nurses Thank you to all of them
While I truly love my internal medicine doctor at SMG, I would never recommend this Westfield urgent care to anyone. The physician I met today was not confident or experienced. She told me that if I did not get better to see an ENT. She didn't even give me any medicine so why would I go to an ENT? Is she not capable of treating me if I advance? She did not look in my ears, nose or even eye (which was red and puffy). She also told me to only put the eye drops that I received from the opthamologist in only the one eye. He told... read more
I'm waiting almost an hour and the doctor hasn't even come in to see me. Giving it 2 more minutes and then leaving!
I have been a patient/client of SMG since they were in a much smaller building in downtown Summit. I love all of my doctors and nurses -- the kindness and compassion that is shown is "out of this world"! I recommend SMG to anyone who is in search of a physician that cares and supports your individual needs. Love SMG - #SMGroadtohealth
Apparently I owe them some money, because within a matter of hours I have gotten an email, text message, and robocall asking me to remit payment. Yet six months ago when I had an abnormal test result from my yearly checkup, they just dropped a note in the mail telling me to follow-up with a specialist. A note that I didn't see until two months later because who reads their snail mail anymore. Now I'm just hoping that two month delay in follow-up didn't cause any undue harm... I've been a patient or SMG for over 10 years and wouldn't have it any other way. Convenient location and hours of practice have given me comfort that I can get the care that I need when I need it. Plus having access to a wide array of services, doctors and nurse practitioners and all of my info ration in the same system makes me feel like I am getting more comprehensive care. The doctors are generally very good. The problem is their billing department. They consistently miss code services to insurance and then have to spend a large amount of time clarifying with both of them (not always successfully. I give their billing department 5 starts for INCOMPETENCY!
