Dr. Richardson helped me through a hard break up and helped me see myself as someone that had a life worth living. Thank You Dr. Richardson.
I have referred multiple clients to Dr Richardson’s DBT group, and have had a very positive experience. Dr. Richardson is an incredibly strong and competent DBT clinician. She is passionate about her work, and she has a way of keeping clients actively engaged in the treatment, which is very unique and valuable in this field.
Dr. Laura is incredible! She helped me out of a mental state I had been struggling with for years that all of my therapy before hadn't managed to chip away at. The DBT program was amazing and the skills I learned in group still help me today.
Not only did Dr Laura perform miracles with my child and her well being but she guided the family through a very challenging time. I am grateful to her for her compassion, knowledge and sincerity which was not always what I wanted to hear, but needed to hear. Thank you Dr. Laura.
I am so grateful for the time I have had working with Dr. Laura. From the beginning, she listened to me and really spent the time to figure out what was going on and how to treat it. She didn't give me a cookie-cutter approach to my complex problem.
My daughter had recently had been referred after the school found out she had been cutting. Not only was Dr. Richardson willing to take her when most other practices refused (too risky), she worked with us closely to keep my daughter out of the hospital. She is doing great now. The therapists we worked with both for individual and group (and for the free skills coaching) were superb. 10/10 recommend this practice.
Dr. Richardson has absolutely changed my life. I started seeing her after over a decade of therapy with various providers and I saw a radical difference after our first few sessions. I've been seeing her for over 4 years now and for the first time, I've been able to maintain the stability that I've been working so hard to achieve. She is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, and always puts her patients first. Dr. Richardson is also an advocate for her patients, and always goes the extra mile to provide extra care when... read more
I had a great experience with Dr. Laura as my psychologist. She is very self-aware and professional in her approach. She listens attentively and empathetically to my concerns and helps me find solutions that work for me. She also gives me honest feedback and challenges me to grow as a person. She is respectful of my boundaries and preferences and never makes me feel judged or pressured. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a competent and compassionate psychologist.
One of many issues - her incompetence and inability to address her inadequacies - I had asked her to assist me with self-confidence or self-respect her response on several occasions was "I don't like those words". When I finally confronted her and demanded an explanation she stated she couldn't write it out on her white board. - - - Instead of stating that her training didn't give her the capacity to address my needs she insinuated something was wrong in how I was expressing myself.
