I am so disappointed in this practice! Aside from the fact that Dr Kinney wants over 3,000$ per year extra for me to stay with her practice, her front office staff should be completely replaced! I asked for my records to be transferred to another doctor and it took 3 months for this to even happen...all with me frequently calling to see if the records were transferred. When I offered to go get them and do it myself, I was told I would have to pay 200$ to get my own records! I regret ever going to this doctor!
I was a patient of Dr. Kinney's for 4 years until recently when I opted not to pay over 3,000 dollars a year to continue to remain under her care. One of the primary reasons I did not continue is that her office staff made it extremely difficult to get information and respond to request for call for either visits ir test results. Dr. Kinney is by far the best internist in the Charleston area. She cares , she shares, she gets things from done and that makes me happy, happy, happy!!!
Continuity of care at this practice is unacceptable. I never see the same provider, as there always seems to be a rotating group of residents. On multiple occasions, despite giving clear instructions, my prescriptions were sent to the wrong pharmacy. Calling the nurse’s line is pointless — no one answers during business hours, and it can take up to a week (if at all) to get a call back. There has been no follow-up on critical blood tests, and in one case, the wrong lab orders were placed for a test necessary for a medication... read more
