I have been seeing Dr. Anders while local to chicago since 2013, most recently picking up when i moved back to Chicago in a couple years back. Dr. Anders has always been available, especially if i was in active crisis, responding to my messages promptly and empathetically. I appreciate her for not only hearing, but considering and respecting my input as a patient when it comes to medications and symptoms/experiences I’ve lived. I came to Dr.Anders about 6 or 7 years ago to get an assessment of my mental health. She is very easy to talk to and is a great listener. I didn't realize that our casual conversation was the actual "assessment"...lol! Initially, we met every month until she was certain that the medication prescribed was a good fit. My mental health gradually improved subtlety, which was the intention. Also, she is very responsive to emails/text if I were to have any questions or issues regarding my prescription. I have been seeing Dr Anders for nearly four years. She stands out in her profession due to her empathy and kindness. She is thoughtful and always puts the patient first in decision making. I appreciate her listening skills and ability to provide solid advice and guidance.
