happy I found them I used this office a few years ago. The entire staff (especially the paralegal, Leanna) were professional, courteous, and kept me informed. My phone calls and emails were answered quickly and thoroughly. They were very helpful at an extremely stressful time. I have recommended them in the past to friends and would not hesitate to do so again.
Not Being Taken I really do not agree with the negative remarks against Laura and her staff. She and her paralegal have done a remarkable job with my case. When I have had questions or concerns about the progress of my case, I get answers right away. With that, my stress level lowers. I couldn't have asked for better lawyer. Her fees are very reasonable. I talked with other lawyers before Laura and their rates and attitude was not what I wanted. Good attorney needs a new paralegal. I agree. Laura did a good job for me but her paralegal just does NOT have any people skills. Frustrating at times. Laura can be hard to reach as well.
Unhappy to be divorced but happy with my attorney I have always been able to get clear, concise answers from this lawyer. I may not like the answers, but they are truthful and we all know the truth isn't always an easy pill to swallow. I very much appreciate the candidness...it made me realize not only what was important in my situation, but it also opened my eyes to the reality of divorce proceedings. Over paid and unnessasary It is my opinion that Laura's staff was very rude and unhelpful, They acted as if I was a $120.00 per hour burden and that was only if I was talking to them, Laura was billing at $215.00 per hour. I never got threw to Laura when I needed, did not receive return calls and I was always concerned with the way my case was being handled, I didn't feel like they tried to help me understand what was really going on with my case and I always got a bill almost as if to detour me from asking any questions. Don't Do IT Do not hire! Completely useless. No communication, wrong advice. Will gladly take your money and do nothing. Billed for questions asked but received no response or wrong information. Refused to enforce restraining order and other legal orders.
Sue MG I disagree with some of these reviews. Laura and Leanna have done nothing but a fantastic job helping my sister with her pending divorce. They are both very knowledgeable, willing to provide much needed information, and they get answers for her when she needs them. Their court sense and ethics are very professional! Confident Dad Sorry folks - I have to disagree with some of these reviews. Laura and Leanna are currently handling my custody case, and have led me through some very confusing waters. Communication is a two way street - if I needed info, I asked, and I received. When I have needed to reach either of them, I simply send an email and typically recieve a response very quickly. I do understand Laura spends time in court, and cannot realistically be expected to pick up the phone every time I call. Not trying to start an argument ... read more
Okay - but beware Did an okay job but paralegal was extremely rude and not very intelligent. Ms. Wolosek seems to do a fine job - if you can put up with negative verbal assaults by her paralegal.
