My experience with Dr. Choi happened at Danbury Hospital in CT. She was very kind and caring as well as willing to take on my complex issues. She went above and beyond to make sure of my comfort and safety at all times. Dr. Choi had to complete several surgeries on me. Each time our goals were met. She absolutely saved my life.
I cannot express in words alone how thankful I am to be referred to Dr. Choi. I have just turned 60 and have several health conditions with over 10 current Doctors and not one of the other Doctors compared to the care and time Dr. Choi extended to me. She is the best Doctor I have ever been in front of. Thank you, Dr. Choi and staff! In a 1-10 review I give her a 100. Every Doctor practicing medicine should strive to be like Dr. Choi.
She was fabulous Her team with main Doctors crew all took extra special care of me. By phone, by follow up. We did a lot of pre-op back then…. You knew everything before ever rolling in to the operating room Love ya Dr Choi!!Susan Reidy
Kind personality.
Dr Choi was my Dr. Here in CT. She is an awesome surgeon. Caring, knowledgeable, compassionate. I could go on and on. She was with me during the most challenging times and the best times of my life. If you are thinking about going to see her... Just do it. You will know be disappointed. I miss her a lot which is why I'm writing this. Wishing her all the Best!

Couldn't have found a better surgeon
I do not recommend Dr. Choi at all she punctured my colon during hernia surgery and moved leaving me with a surgeon who was defensive and put off surgery help with tons of complications telling me that it happens all the time. This surgeon has done it 2 times definitely maybe 3. Not recommended at all although she was kind.
Dr. Choi was very helpful up to the surgery and when I returned for a follow up visit she did not listen that I did not feel good, sent me home and that night I ended up in the ER and in isolation for a week. Won't go into details but happy I am here right now.
