Horrible place to go to. Made me lose my job telling me I can’t drive when I haven’t had a recorded seizure for years. Front desk people are horrible and unprofessional. Made me try to take off my own eeg out of my hair without asking my name first. Never told me about a copay and now randomly I owe 300$. DO NOT GO TO NYU. Unless you want to be neglected. I had multiple allergic reactions from medications and the doctor Laura buck couldn’t take 5 mins to speak with me on the phone.
If i hadn’t moved away from Long Island, Laura Buck would continue to be my # 1 provider. She delivered the in-depth services of a specialist while also taking into account every other aspect of my health to a greater degree than any primary care physician i have ever been a patient of. Her high level of patient care is evidenced by how great a listener she was. Thanks to her, i came to find out that a misdiagnosis from previous MD’s & NP’s was the root cause of many an issue that presented as neurological ones; and thanks t... read more

Call it patient abandonment.. After being a patient at South shore neurology for 23 years yeah it's the years my nurse practitioner had moved. I was then following up with Laura .Buck. the office had set me up with her. I didnt have any other choice. I saw her a couple of times. I then went in for my follow up and before seeing her the medical assistant asked why I was there. I told her a follow up and a medical exemption. She stepped out of the room and returned stating that they are not giving out medical exemptions xss an... read more
