I absolutely love this place. I feel so good leaving my dog here knowing he is happy and loved. Owner is a true animal lover and he actually gets excited to get his hair cut here ❤️

I shopped here for the first time today and I will shop here again and again. Pamela was lovely and extremely helpful. She had everything I wanted there in the shop and was very knowledgeable about her products. Her prices were exceptional - Ziwipeak here is priced the way it is on the Internet, unlike Pet Food Express (which is $10 more expensive across the board on Ziwipeak products). No gimmicks here - loyalty cards or buy this many (at one time) and get x free - just good, honest pricing and great products, with a wonder... read more

Best pet food store in the area! Has all of the most current supplies, food, litter, toys, and the really knowledgeable and friendly owner! I highly recommend the store!
Love this place! The owner and groomer both were very nice. They did a beautiful job on our pom-chi. Also like to give a shout out to the resident 4 legged peoples there. The cat L.C. Which can only stand for loves and cuddles. As well as the bear (they say it's a dog) Hans. Definitely going back there.
I would say it is the best pet shop in Sacramento! Great service!

I took my brand new (and anxious) rescue Great Dane to Honest Dog to wash off a few layers of grime. The facilities were top-end, they were extremely generous with the use of their products and grooming tools, and it was the complete opposite of what I expected the experience to be; it was completely harmonious. I loved the store, the dog wash stations, and even the cat! Not to mention the smiling faces and respectable values at the foundation of the organization.
I love this store! I agree with other postings that say Pamela (the owner) really cares about your pets. She goes above and beyond what any chain store could possibly do to ensure you are happy with your purchases and get what you need. In the relatively short time I have been a customer, she has offered to special order items on several occasions and makes sure she keep in stock the items I use on a regular basis.
