Could not accomodate diabetics schedule for breakfast at 7am and charged $107 cancellation fee 2 days before stay.

We checked as a lark for an availability last night and booked into the Kiwi Room. What a charming boutique inn we accidentally found! The room was very spacious and the bathroom has both a tub and walk-in shower. The bed was large and comfortable and the bay window gave a small view of the river. But, it's the lower level with the lovely rooms and seating that captures the heart. This is an historic old home lovingly maintained and your hostess is very welcoming. A nice old historic home turned bed and breakfast. The rooms are mostly to period with some French decor here and there. The staff was friendly and helpful as needed. A few inconvenient things are that they don’t allow guests to bring their own alcohol, which would be okay but they only had wines and beer in the bar area, no mixed drinks. Also, our room didn’t have any place to put luggage, like a rack, so suitcases were open on the floor. And the bathroom was a bit awkward without much flat space to place your cosmetics, to... read more
