Traveled from over an hour away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I made sure the restaurant knew of our celebration and they did absolutely nothing to make our visit special. In fact, we had to wait for reservation. $17 to park is insane. Great atmosphere, service and food was below what was expected for the cost.
We were sat on the deck at dinner because we didn't make reservations to set by the river. We paid well over $200.00 plus 20% for the tip for two people not including valet parking. We decided to make reservations for brunch. We we arrived at the scheduled time. They sat people in front of us without reservations, then proceeded to tell us we would have to wait for a table. It was so embarrassing that we left. Who could pay such prices after such treatment? Thank you for making us feel like second class citizens.
We went here for breakfast, the atmosphere was beautiful and everyone was super nice. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it took 15 minutes for it to come out. I think the server forgot to ring it in. When the food came some of our items were missing. Took a while to get those to us also. If you’re looking for a really cute spot to dine with Mediocre attentiveness go here. I don’t think we will be returning :(
The ambiance and atmosphere at Cress on Oak Creek are absolutely top-tier. It’s such a beautiful, peaceful setting, and the service was wonderful throughout our visit. We came for a birthday breakfast and, while we loved the surroundings, the food was unfortunately a little disappointing overall. Extremely Disappointing Birthday Dinner Unfortunately, our birthday dinner at Cress on Oak Creek was a complete disappointment. We arrived at 7:15 for our 7:30 reservation and were told we could not be seated until exactly 7:30. We sat at the bar and had two drinks that cost $58 before tip. Our table wasn’t ready until 7:58—28 minutes after our reservation time. Once seated, there were bugs all over the tablecloth from the light fixture.
