There are issues like all other rentals, however, we have found it to be a cozy home for a bit over a year now. Its quiet, private, perfectly located. Any problems we have had have been fixed with a phone call to local offsite management.
BEWARE OF THIS COMPLEX! When I came to look at these apartments I was lied to by Mrs. Braud. I was shown a nice 3 bdrm "model" apartment with new everything. I was told BY THE OWNER that the apartment I would be renting looked exactly like the model I was shown (fans in all rooms, new cabinets, carpet and tile, granite counters, etc etc). I fell for the "move in special" bs and signed a year long lease thinking I was going to move into a pretty nice apartment. While there is some exaggeration and speculation in some of these negative reviews, there is also truth in them as well. The time period during which almost every one of the previous reviews were written was a period when the property owners, who had previously been very hands on, had attempted to move out of state and trust a full time salaried property manager to maintain the property and address maintenance issues. DO NOT RENT HERE! Stay far away from these apartments, they are filthy. The owners are cons, they will lure you in with a \$199 move in special and tell you about the granite countertops....dont fall for it. Check EVERYTHING(a/c units) first, before you move in anywhere (just like a car). The mold in the bathroom is disgusting, it wasnt there when I moved in, but didnt take long to show its ugly face. This place is the most uncared for property I have ever rented from. We were told this was a family oriented apartment complex. Well its far from that. The pool they have pictured online looks nice, but the pool there is poorly kept. They do not keep up with it, they only open it at their convenience and change the pool rules on a daily basis.They also tend to discriminate on who can use the pool and when.They use little to no chemicals in the pool to keep the cost down. I regret it right now with what I am dealing with, the AC has not worked for 2 months, the upstairs bedrooms are unlivable . The heat is a horror in this complex. No screens on windows, no Air flow
Well kept inside and out. Rent is reasonable and its close to everything in Mandeville (best location Ive found)!
I regret moving to this complex. Biggest mistake ever! My family and I have had nothing but trouble since moving in a few months ago. Spend a little more money and move to a better apartment complex. Trust me parking is a nightmare bc the spaces are so narrow. There are water leaks and AC problems. And dont get me started on having to deal with the woman in charge of things...
trouble trouble trouble! The apartments are poorly put together and very poorly cared for, if something is fixed its half done and not a lot of effort is put into it. However, they work hard on the outward appearance of the apartment complex,and it looks nice. But the part that matters is the living quarters!
