The food was really good but I’m having a lot of trouble ignoring the injustice the owner is doing. We were given the option to pay/order online, but we chose to ordered directly with the waitress. Once we received the receipt, she explained that the 18% service fee, which was a tip for the workers, was changed to an operations fee for the same percentage. The food was excellent, and our server provided excellent service. This feedback is not directed at staff, but at the restaurant’s ownership/management and the way the additional 20% operations charge is presented to customers. When I asked about the charge, I was told by our server that it was not a gratuity and was required under a new Florida law effective July 1, 2026. Bad experience, food was mediocre, I order "The Bandeja Paisa " , they brought me a plate with an small fried plantain , smelling a disgusting oil, then the meat was dried or overcook , well at a least not burned, the beans no flavor, really !!! I use to go to this restaurant in the past , but looking like the personal in the kitchen now , they not have a clue how is the bandeja Paisa or how to prepare, I do not imagine how the other plates are now , and I do not want spend any money in this place anymore !
