My first experience was with a Dane I was fostering. The staff is wonderful. I decided to move all of our dogs to Latimer and have recommended them to everyone I know in the New Albany, Clarksville and Floyds Knobs area. I have a very difficult schnauzer/poodle mix and she did great with Dr. Latimer and his staff.
The staff at Latimer are hands down the best I've ever dealt with. They are all very friendly and helpful, and are super gentle when handling my very old, very weird dog. They are also very good at handling freaked out dog moms - they didn't talk down to me or use words over my head, they're just very good at reassuring humans that they know what they're doing. I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.
We have always had a Great experience each time we visited Latimer.
My wife and I have two dogs that were rescued from a poor home situation, which means they are very scared and cautious of people and can sometimes be very hard to deal with when it comes to going to the vet. However, I must say these people truly love animals and do everything in their power to make what can be a very scary and stressful situation for a dog pleasant and comfortable. Dr.Latimer and Staff are very professional. They was very patient with My German Rottweiler Deuce the last few times in have visited. I highly recommend them if your looking for a Doctor for your Fur Kids or Companion. Thanks for everything you have done.
