RecommendedMy sales rep Eli Cronin is a wealth of knowledge. He is prompt, more than fair -generous even, and he has accelerated our learning curve as well as the quality of our installs. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and provide hands on training as well. There is only one manufacturer of floor coatings products as far as I’m concerned.
LATICRETE does not stand by their product. I bought enough of their grout system for the floors and tub/shower enclosures for my many bathrooms. I used some and it was great (you do need to be able to work quickly and while it is billed as nonstaining, it does stain and needs to be cleaned with their special product). HOWEVER, I did not do all the bathrooms at the same time. I went to do the next one earlier this month and one of the reactant pouches had changed color. Laticrete technical support is a complete joke. We used Hydroband behind the tile in our swimming pool as waterproofing only to be told it's not compatible with pool plaster. The Laticrete representative on the phone recommended a complete system for the waterproofing and tile installation and now it is a total disaster. Second phone representative was not knowledgeable either, my husband asked him if he had ever even been in a swimming pool and understood how they're constructed. One of the best products I’ve used on jobs. The laticrete shower system is incredible, I love the drain and how it is built into the shower pan. The hydroban board is excellent and the waterproofing is very good quality and works well. I use the thin set all the time. Ultra light and the 354 platinum Are my go to’s on jobs. Thank you laticrete for making quality products.
