This tree service has great men that work hard and long. They cleaned up after they were done, even though it was pouring rain. They never stopped, just kept going. 5 stars from us.
The entire team at Lathan Tree Service is friendly and professional. Not only did they provide the best priced quote, but they provided the shortest timeline for work to start. When the team showed up, they showed up when I was told they'd be there. Not earlier, not later. I hired Lathan Tree Service to cut down a few trees, hired them in April to do the job and as of June they still have not cut down trees. Spoke to them once a week and they kept promising they would be there the following week. One excuse after another, employment issues, rain, and on and on. Finally hired another company and they were there within a week and a half and had the job done. Do not hire this company....
Disgusted that companies are out there that don’t care. Was hired to do a job in April spoke to them several times about the work. They came up with one excuse after another why they didn’t make it there. Hired another company and had a wonderful experience and job was done with two weeks. Please think twice before you call or expect Lathan Tree Service to do a job for you.

Until your rude message yesterday, we had never heard of you or spoke with you. Everything was communicated and approved through ****. (who we now know, is not the property owner?) You called and threatened to sue if you did not get moved up on a schedule. We returned your message and told you we would not be willing to work for someone who acts like you. I am only giving Lathan Tree Service one star because there is nothing lower. When I came home from work and saw the mess they left behind I could not believe it. My light post was bent and scratched and had to be replaced at a cost of over $250. The walkway on the side of my house was missing several bricks. I found a few of them tossed in the bushes. The rest I assume they ran over and busted and just threw away. I am getting an estimate on replacing that but was told a ballpark figure of $6 - 700 dollars. The ruts in the ... read more

I wish there was a review platform for customers as I have since found out you have a history of not paying or complaining to get a reduced bill........I won't mince words. You are a liar. This review and your BBB review are nothing but attempts to not pay your bill. You had your driveway excavated the week before we were there, they dug within 3" of your light pole. We had no work in the area of the pole, but you blamed us for ruining the pole, breaking the electric line, etc. When I met with you to resolve this, you refuse... read more
After receiving an estimate on April 1 for tree and stump removal then hearing from the company five or six different times about when they were coming to do the work, never to show up but to call with yet another excuse as to why they couldn't do the job that day, I ended up hiring another company in August to do the work.
