I rarely leave reviews, but for l’Atelier it would feel wrong not to. Halim, the owner-optician, is plainly outstanding when it comes to his care and commitment towards both his customers and his craft. In response to my indecisiveness and repeat visits with finicky requests, he was nothing but patient and understanding – quite honestly, exceeding what I could have reasonably expected. The eyeglasses I bought them are great. The frames are really beautiful. I really appreciate them, but I feel I was ripped off a lot by the cost of the lenses because when I went someplace else for my other glasses they use the same lenses they’re made using the same brand and they were a quarter cheaper than they were at l’Atlier where I paid a great deal of money more actually a HUGE AMOUNT MORE . Advice to people frames are great there go elsewhere for your lenses.

Purchased a pair of sunglasses and prescription eyeglasses here. The selection is unlike you will find anywhere else in Toronto. Very unique, high quality frames and lens craftsmanship by Halim, the master optician. Very grateful for his service; I will definitely be returning and recommending to everyone!

Terrible experience, purchased a pair of pricey lightweight eyeglasses only to be sold heavy lenses without my knowledge which defeats the purpose of them being light. I also asked for nose pads which were supposed to come with them only to be met with ‘they’re gonna look ugly’ and ‘I’ll call you when I have them’, it’s been months and I’m still waiting… I would avoid this place
