I love Dr. Waltrous! He's very gentle and his bedside manner is excellent. I always leave feeling happy with the way I was treated by everyone and from the cleaning. Junior, his assistant, is great. The lady in the front desk (idk her name :( ) is SO sweet with me. The only reason I took a star off is because the facilities always seem to be pretty run-down BUT I've been his patient for almost 4 years now and I keep coming back, so that should give you an idea. :)
Coming to this dentist is a huge waste of time.
As stated in other comments, not only does Dr Waltrous have excellent bedside manners, he is also very gentle and I had an easy and painless procedure. His assistant Junior and lady at reception are also very friendly and helpful. I did take out one star though because the office looks old and run down which is not reassuring, and it would be great if they could renovate it.
Absolutely horrible. I never bleed at the dentist, but after my visit, I was told to go to the bathroom to clean myself up. I was shocked to look in the mirror and see blood all around my mouth, and didn't stop bleeding for hours. Also, the doctor did not perform any tooth polishing, which every dentist I've had does, which seemed odd to me. Lastly, upon requesting they send my dental records to my new dentist (because I will not be returning) they asked for a $35 copy fee, which is illegal under New York Public Health Law. ... read more
