I have known Jeff for years. He is someone who I always call on of if I want something done properly. His attention to detail and pride in his workmanship is unmatched. We had a number of very difficult old sash windows to reconfigure which required ingenuity and intelligent problem solving, this he did with care and precision. If you want something done with attention to detail and skill… Jeff is your guy.
We've used Laskey Homesmith a couple of times now and they have been fantastic. They replaced our wooden bulkhead and most recently, took on a unique project for us that required a creative and custom solution. We wouldn't have been able to find anyone else that was willing to devote the time and thoughtfulness Alex and his team did. We will definitely use them again in the future!
One of the windows in my 1915 Craftsman home was completely stuck half way and wouldn't open or close. Lasky Homesmith expertly did troubleshooting and fixed my window. I also learned a lot about historic window maintenance and restoration. I had a great experience and definitely recommend them for windows!
I worked directly with Alex Lasky who fixed three windows in my condo. We needed to either find the parts for the windows or replace the whole windows, which would have cost much more. Alex demonstrated excellent detective skills tracking down the window maker. He noticed a sticker on the windows and found the local company online. We have used Lasky Homesmith Services 5-6 times over the last 2 years and found the experience to be very good! They addressed a number of issues ranging from simple maintenance (e.g. did some small floor repairs, repaired a door. replaced some rotted wood porch railings and hung a large mirror.) to more complicated and difficult (e.g. restored 3 double hung windows, installed a new custom exterior door w/new hardware.). The quality of work is excellent and communication was great. We strongly recommend them.
