I was able to get same day lasik with a -8.00 prescription! I am from fredericksburg and went first locally and was told I could only do prk. I wanted a 2nd opinion and had been wearing my glasses for 2 weeks already. I scheduled a 1030am same day lasik apt with Dr Roberts in Glen Allen and I was able to get same day lasik not prk! Wonderful and attentive staff! Quick and painless procedure.
The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. Doctor Robert’s was good at telling me what to expect. The procedure itself was no more than 10 minutes. There was a little pain once the drops wore off after the procedure, but it wasn’t anything unbearable, just uncomfortable. The only downfall was they don’t mention the ability the get Contoura LASIK until you’re there. It was $600 more than regular LASIK, and the pros include being less likely to experience halos, glares, and the laser hits more points on your eyes. The way the... read more
Heather and surgeon were 10/10 very informative and nice. Very much life chabging . My only note is there is another doctor there who clearly had just smoked a cigarette. Maybe don't do it where customer can see you on thier way in or have lingering smell.
