Honestly i am quite surprised I've been contemplating getting lasik for quite some time years. I've just found out I have 20/20 vision as i've received Lasik. Honestly, maybe, since I was around 26-27 years old. I've been in glasses since I was about 5 or 6. All my life I never expected to have clear vision without glasses. The process was quite quick. I am writing a very honest review. I was super nervous about the procedure. I have worn glasses or contacts for almost 40 years. I went in for my first visit and everyone was very kind and explained everything. I went back the following week for my LASIK. The doctor was great and the procedure is super quick. Now they did tell me at my first visit that it would burn after the numbness wore off. Like "cutting onions". Absolutely not!!! it felt like my eyes were being branded!! I was able to get same day lasik with a -8.00 prescription! I am from fredericksburg and went first locally and was told I could only do prk. I wanted a 2nd opinion and had been wearing my glasses for 2 weeks already. I scheduled a 1030am same day lasik apt with Dr Roberts in Glen Allen and I was able to get same day lasik not prk!
