The office is nice and the receptionist is friendly. As for the info I was given? Poor. Like with any medical decision, I’ve been to multiple lasik doctors to hear their take. For LASIK MD, I was extremely surprised to be told I was a candidate for regular LASIK (after other clinics said differently). Warm, welcoming, informative staff. Rebecca did the initial assessment of my issue, and then expertly guided me through the procedure, while managing my expectations with patience and care. Also, the procedure was a complete success.
I booked a consultation after seeing LASIK MD advertise surgery starting at $490 per eye. After my appointment, I was quoted $4,590. That’s not a small difference — it’s nearly 5x what’s advertised. I understand that the $490 is a “starting at” price and that not everyone qualifies. If the actual cost had been even double the advertised amount, that would have felt reasonable. Excellent experience the staff administration and also medical staff all fantastic . I was super scared before doing the surgery but with professionalism I was taken care and I am grateful forever . Thank you very much to Doctor Samir Jabbour for doing the surgery perfectly I can see now with no glasses and I am beyond happy . My husband recently has his lenses replaced as he was not a candidate for lazor procedure. He is now recovering and does not need his glasses. Very expensive $8600. But according to the doctor he won't ever need glasses again and ever get cataracts. He may need cheaters to read very fine print as time goes on.
