Smart doctor who really cares about his patients. He even wrote a book on sleep problems and how to treat them. He fixed my complex sleep apnea when no other doctor could. They always returned my calls. If you can’t sleep, make an appointment. What else could you want?
I have never had such a terrible experience anywhere My appointment was for 4:30 PM there Website says they close at 4 PM I tried to call and ask for directions because I got lost and their phone says they’re closed when I got there 10 minutes late. My experience with Dr. Shamiya and staff has been outstanding. Dr. Shamiya takes time to explain the issue and for me, properly diagnose what a different sleep center could not. The front office staff are phenomenal. Litzy helped with my CPAP set up and adjustments; all calls have been answered or returned promptly.
Over charging claiming it is the insurance copay when it is not, after double checking my benefits. Not providing insurance cost estimates, just making broad claims that max out my deductibles,( which my insurance estimates also say most of the procedures are fully covered). require payment to set future appointments without the EOB first.
