I have stayed here multiple times. The words reliable and dependable come to mind. But far from complete. The folks at the front desk: Sam, Mari, and Eddie begin your stay with a smile and full support. The location of Las Palomas is perfect... Within walking distance to Santa Fe's Plaza and yet far enough away to be quiet. Your hesitation can stop, book it, stay there, and enjoy the magic of Las Palomas and Santa Fe.
This was our second stay at Las Palomas and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. This isn’t the Four Seasons so the rooms could use a little updating here and there, but it’s the perfect place to stay if you travel to New Mexico for outdoor activities and don’t want to worry if you’re in the lobby in muddy hiking boots or head to breakfast straight from your morning run! Very tiny room. Two towels. Outlet in kitchenette broken. Lumpy mattress. Old pillows. Kitchenette had no cleaning supplies or rags. Overall rundown. Front desk clerk very cranky.
Do not be deceived by the photographs they use. We were showing two rooms and neither one was usable. The first was upstairs with extension cords from running across to try to get electrical to places. It was dark and the bed was horrific. Again, nothing like in the images. Then we were showing a second room and it was even worse. There is no kitchenette. It’s a mini fridge with a Coffee maker stacked on top. Only one of the four lights in the bathroom even worked.
