Las Palapas on 410 and Evers is one of the slowest fast food establishments I have ever experienced. For a restaurant that has ready made Mexican comfort food, these people really make it very hard to go back. You spend ten minutes in the drive thru (which is completely against the concepts of gasoline savings and the protection of our global climate, plus a surely stressful time if you are on a tight schedule) only to find a person with a bad attitude, talking to their fellow woekers and ignoring the customer, at the window... read more
people love it, but why eat here when there's so much better around the corner. but i do like that they're closed sundays.

Las Palapas is great for an inexpensive dinner. They have big glasses so you always have plenty to drink. And whether you need to feed two or two hundred, they'll take care of you. I like their tacos, taco salad, chalupas, enchiladas, etc. And they are all over town, so there's sure to be one near you!
