I remember the days before las Palmas changed their meat and ingredient quality to dumpster tier. I remember when el zarape was the best in town and not infested with roaches. (The owners can’t help it, the location of el zarape just makes it impossible to deal with the roach problem) Every other Mexican restaurant has gone down hill too. Las Mesas in 2025, by far the best Mexican restaurant in town. Actually large portions which is super rare in 2025 as well.
The best 1$ tacos in town. Friendly and attentive staff and food is great!

I stopped by this Mexican restaurant and was really impressed overall. The place was very clean, which gave a good first impression, and the service was friendly and attentive. It did take a little longer than expected for the food to come out, but honestly, it was worth the wait because everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The extra time felt like it came from them preparing things right instead of rushing. Definitely a solid spot I’d recommend if you’re craving good Mexican food.
