As a contractor I have to say that LAS is a great place to buy all kinds of wood products such as specialty plywood, moulding, various species of stair parts, finished and unfinished flooring. A huge stock! For wood supply, can't beat it. Prices are much better for standard woods like oak than the other stores. Great selection! Always helpful!
LAS has all the materials I need and they even order unique items I can't find anywhere. Great quality wood and the biggest selection I've seen around Chicago. The great thing is that they are always willing to help and consult with me on which floor would be the best for my client. I highly recommend.
Las is great! They have high quality wood and the lowest prices. Plus, the people there are experts on installation and always advise me! Great service and great experience. I will be back for sure.
Unethical Practices!!! I bought special order stair treads and paid a premium for them. 1 1/2 thick solid red oak (SOLID???). what I got was to stair treads glued together. Not special order just a way for them to make more money on expecting customers. What some businesses will do to make a dollar. BUYER BEWARE!!! Don't get scammed buy somewhere else where they respect their customers!!! As a side note they don't even deserve 1 star but I am forced to put something in to write my review.
I like this place. LAS is my favorite supplier. Low prices for high quality flooring materials. Very friendly people are working there.
