Don’t waste your time on Friday night, if you don’t know about the secret (regulars) reservation list. It’s in addition to the one Toast Waitlist that is used for everyone else that walks in the front door. Oh, and don’t try the waitlist offered on their website, they don’t use that anymore, either. Very popular restaurant. Had to wait 15 minutes for a table at lunch. Chicken breast was a little tough, but it had great flavor. Top Shelf frozen margarita was legit.
I have concerns about the recent management change following the closure of Creekside. The new manager from Creekside does not seem to prioritize a family-oriented environment, which has been a key factor in our location’s success. If Creekside struggled under his leadership, it may not be beneficial to bring the same approach here to this location on Walnut. We have been coming here for a long time. Prior to our most recent couple of visits, which were 2 years ago, we frequently went to Los Fontanas for dinner. I’ll get right to the point. The food tastes, as well as appears to be pre-made(frozen/reheated). It is a rather pricy place to dine, which is ok, if it is what it used to be, which was fantastic. No more.
