I’d read about this place, which seemed good for take-away burritos. Nope. I ordered one carnitas and one chicken burrito. The chicken was especially bad, being virtually flavorless and DRY. The carnitas had a little flavor, but was equally dry as the chicken. They did give me a little cup of salsa verde, but that’s no substitute for food so dry it was hard to choke down. No wonder their food is so cheap. It was just awful. For comparison, it’s a step way down from Chipotle or Qdoba. Yeah.
Best prices on good tacos in town as well as the best taste. I wish they were open a bit later so I could come more often. The staff is often singing in the back, the vibes are amazing. Dining room is clean. This is a hidden gem I didn’t discover until after living in foco for nearly 10 years, and I mourn the time I wasted!! Definitely try it out.
Just got a container of beans from the cold case, two pieces of cake, 2 pastels and tortillas . $28 Then I cooked them at home & had to pour out the large puddle of oil. Now get that I ordered them because they looked authentically delicious. After tasting them, I came to the web to see if I actually bought lard with beans. Added a can of beans and still wondered what to do about the lack of taste and Gross. I know I’m a güera, but this is bad.
Every time I order here I get the third degree, I'm Mexican and speak Spanish, my own people treat me like I don't belong there. Ordered al pastor burrito, and it tasted like spaghetti sauce w sugar in it. Nah es toy contento sin tortillas las Americas
