Las Arenitas proved to be THEE surprise of our one-night travel stay in Winnemucca. My EV charge was going to be about 30 minutes. Any place to grab a bite? Just across the busy street was an unassuming strip mall. Nestled away was a sign for "Sushi & Mexican Food." WHAT?! The Mexican I could give a nod to, but...fresh sushi in the middle of Nevada? Tried and true spot. Consistently delicious. The edamame can be a bit plain but that's what soy sauce is for. Hand made tortillas, good beans and rice. Ive never actually been disappointed here. In house dining can get a bit loud sometimes but it can be a busy place and alcohol is served so order take out if noise is an issue.
