I am totally in love with La Rue. I visit the boutique at least once, sometimes twice, a week to check out the newest curation of unique items. Warning - the store has the best vibes and the most welcoming atmosphere, so you may never want to leave. Be prepared to be treated like a rock star by the owner and staff. There's something there for everyone.
Don’t come in here if you’re an alt baddie you WILL be profiled immediately upon entering. I visited today with my sister and was instantly told to put our bags on the counter (mind you, there was a woman in there with her child who had an OPEN crossbody bag who didn’t have to put it on counter) there was no visible sign we could see that stated there was any policy regarding purses. I've shopped here quite a few times. We go back for the amazing soap they have. Their facial bar I use every single day. I hate they've had problems that now require you to place your bag at the register. I don't go anywhere without my purse. I understand it's for their stores protection but social anxiety and wondering if someone is gonna snatch my things made me want to leave pretty much right away instead of looking at their other products. I don't stop here often but when I do, it's never a disappointment. I've met the owner and she has such a kind spirit. Always knowledgeable and helpful. I went in with my daughter and niece yesterday. Emma was so kind enough to help me look for an item, although they didn't have it. There was a price missing on another item that I wanted and she went out of her way to msg the owner about it.
