As a French trained chef, this place is very pleasing. Perfect blend of French American and Italian techniques. Both savory and sweets are delicious. Will be back for more!
the "snails" are my favorite. But yesterday we got an extra moment of entertainment, when a young man, after being stabbed ran down the sidewalk right in front of us, and we had a ringside seat watching the SPD converge on Jones Ave and NW 24th!
One shot of espresso in all size drinks? Come on, larsens! Also, it takes two minutes to wipe down tables and sweep the floor.... it’s always messy here. Always. Give a BHS kid a bleach rag and put them to work!
Our daughter took us to Larsen's Danish Bakery when we first visited Seattle in 2001. We've back to Seattle every year since, but didn't make it back to Larsen's until yesterday. Thanks to an item in the SEATTLE TIMES, we were reminded of that long ago visit and went back for some pastry treats. The pastries were flakey, buttery, flavory and the service was friendly.
Larsen’s Danish Bakery is the Best Danish Pastry Shop in the P.N.W., it is just like a Old Country Danish Bakery with a added improvement -you can go in the afternoon and there is still a good Selection of Pastry Items, won’t find that in Scandinavian. :)
Every baked food I have had from Larsen’s over the last 2 years has been amazing! I live over an hour away, and they are worth the drive! Amazing cake decoration and flavors!
