I went to Dr. Gitlin for approximately 5-6 years. Thank God my insurance changed and he didn't accept it. In those years I had cavities every single appointment. I'm in my 40s and hadn't had a cavity in 15+ years. Dr Gitlin claimed my teeth were getting soft. Well, after he stopped taking my insurance I didn't go to the Dentist for about 3 years because I was scared and tired of the drilling every 6 months. Excellent person and dentist. Very entertaining, great environment.
Dr. Gitlin is very Friendly as are his staff, however services were more expensive than were quoted initially.
I went here years ago on the recommendation of a coworker. I had moved and been lazy about seeing the dentist for about two years. Thiswaiting turned out to be a dumb decision, because x-rays showed that I had the first cavities of my life. I was at first incredulous, and asked to see the xrays myself. Dr. Gitlin didn't take this as an affront, but patiently showed me the cavities in the xrays. We love Dr. Gitlin. He's extremely professional and also funny, pleasant and makes his patients at ease.
Has been my dentist for several years now. Very good. Really love talking to him about politics, etc.
