This Dr. Chinitz does not care about reviewing patients records, has a very 'cocky attitude' and does not know how to talk to family members. He just wants to pawn off the work on another provider. If you want a doctor that cares look elsewhere.

Dr chinitz never followed up after a very serious procedure and prescribed a medicine that could have had dangerous interaction with another medicine previously prescribed by another docto. Additionally, he takes no accountability and is really just a business man, acting as a cardiologistz. He does not make patients feel like individuals or care about them, but instead just works to get to the next patient as soon as possible. If you are looking for a doctor that actually cares for you and your well being, look elsewhere

Dr. Chinitz is a remarkably talented physician who has special skills to help his patients. I had paroxysmal atrial fibrillation which began about five years ago which was becoming increasingly frequent. As a physician myself, and having the ability to get first hand information about who to seek for counselling and treatgment, I found Dr. Chinitz. After severfal meetings, he did perform an ablation and I have been essentially free of atrial fibrillation since his operation. This may not be the case for everyone of his patie... read more

We drove from Connecticut for a 3 pm appointment and were told nothing by the people behind the reception desk. After 45 minutes we gathered from remarks in the waiting room that Dr. Chinitz was running 2 hours late. When we went to the reception desk, they confirmed it, so we left for home. We spent a total of 4 hours on the road, plus an hour of preparation for the appointment (online admission forms, preparing Kardia reports). In a just world, he would pay us for our time.

Dr. Chinitz performed an ablation on me 2017. So far, the outcome has been outstanding. Listening to my heart beating normally, in sinus rhythm, provides great comfort and relief...so soothing after years of a-fib.
