I selected Dr. Larrain to care for me and my unborn child in early 2016. I had a prior history of preterm labor and I asked Dr. Larrain during my initial appointment if he was a qualified and certified high-risk practitioner or maternal fetal medicine specialist. He advised me that he was indeed a high-risk specialist.(He is most defiantly not!) I began experiencing preterm labor contractions at 18 weeks. I was brushed off and labeled as "crazy" & a "troublemaker" during my office visits. I
This man is amazing. Had an appointment with him today. Great bed side manner. Very personable, caring and understanding, after the appointment he explained everything that was going on. He asked if we had any questions and took the time to answer all of them. He explained the next steps I would be going through. If you need a doctor, I highly recommend him. I wish I had gone to him earlier. Can't say enough good things.
I saw Dr Larrain after my ob/gyn retired. I have never ever had a problem. He listens, and I find him caring and sincere along with his staff. My husband researched his education, qualifications and special areas of intrest in women's health. And said this is the "Doctor" you want taking care of you! He had to do an old fashion hysterectomy on me after the age of 55. I was scared to death. He took very good care of me and may have saved my life down the road if I had done nothing. Thank you.
Dr.Larrain delivered both of my children. He's amazing! Patient, accommodating, friendly, and an overall wonderful man! Thank you, Dr.Larrain!
If you want to go to an Ob/Gyn who knows what he's doing, go see Dr.Larrain. He is the most competent and knowledgeable physician I have ever been to. He did my hysterectomy and literally saved my life during surgery. I'm a heavy bleeder and began to lose a lot of blood. He did exactly what needed to be done to stop the bleeding. When I woke up in recovery, he sitting at my bedside while the first of 2 units of blood ran into my IV. Amazing doctor!!!
Terrible experience. At 38 weeks he wanted to schedule a c-section. He pushed very hard towards c-sec even though it was against what we wanted. They're were no health reasons to push for c-sec or inducing labor. After labor began on its own, he gave me Pictosin to speed it along (once again against my will and without adequate health reason). At this point, he was on the phone with nurse because he had not arrived yet. He told them to prep me for c-sec.
Was very comfortable and so appreciative of his understanding of my situation.
Dr Larrain spent more time ogling my 16-year-old daughter than interacting with me during my appointment to evaluate my severe back pain. He actually spoke to her rather than me, encouraging her to make her own appointment with his office.
