Service was "meh, ok" and had a dead fly drop down into our nachos from the light above ( gross, clean your fixtures) but the food was decent , our entire party agreed that they should of kept if the old concept of "halsteds" minus the bitchy twink waiters .
The burger was perfect. The brownie sundae was fabulous. My server Will was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be going back there.
The cob salad was one of the worst salads I've ever had. I was the last to be served out of our party and it was only a salad. The chicken wasn't even warm. I've never had a cob salad without bacon or blue cheese. There was one egg, a few of the tiniest cherry tomatoes I've ever seen and a sprinkle of gorgonzola cheese. I was told there would be a ranch dressing but it could hardly be called buttermilk. I ate the salad and kept my mouth shut so that the rest of my party could enjoy their meals. Absolutely wonderful evening. Our pizza was outstanding and the Young Kady who waited on us was a fulfilling delight. After we settled our bill and moved on. We returned to continue our evening and the young lady who waited on us earlier continued to insure we were well taken care of. This will be a return location for us. Thanks Lark and praise to the young lady who took such good care of us.
