UF large animal hospital is amazing! They did every test imaginable on our miniature donkey. They called 3 times now to see how he's doing. Most caring and efficient vets I've ever encountered. HIGHLY recommed!!!!!!!
They saved our baby Corie Mushrooms. I don't know how to explain how desperate and scared we were, but they did everything right and they all truly seemed to care. She was minutes from death when we arrived, and a few weeks later we left with our sweet baby, alive and well, and now she's like a kid again. Everyone here represents the best kind of people to someone who loves animals. They are true heroes.
This is the 2nd time I've had a horrible experience. Brought my small 70lb pig in,they put her in a concrete huge large animal stall. They claimed she had cornea scratch which was not true. I brought her to a local ophthalmologist the next day with no sign of a cornea scratch. They wanted to do a temporary surgery for $1600., after billing me over $400. for a 10 minute consult. I brought Helen, my pot belly pig in. Dr. Holbrook and Dr Valdes were so compassionate and professional. Unfortunately, Helen could not be fixed due to genetic abnormalities. The Drs. Made the transition for my baby girl easier. They treated her with respect and as an Individual.
