At first, the food was really good and the tempura rolls had enough shrimp, cream cheese, and avocado. However, these last few times I've gone, the food is no longer to the level it once was. I had very little cream cheese and avocado, I felt like I was only eating the tempura batter and rice. I keep hoping the food improves, yet that hasn't been the case. I will not be dining at Sushi Madre any time soon.
Good place to go if you want variety. This place has both sushi and mexican food. The sushi is not the best but it is good compared to the other sushi locations in Laredo. The Mexican food is better.
Whether you want Mexican food or Sushi, this restaurant has both and both very good.
GOOD FOOD VERY BAD SERVICE – THE FOOD THERE IS GOOD BUT THE SERVICE IS THE WORST THE WAITRESSES ACT LIKE THEY ARE HANDING OUT THE FOOD FOR FREE. I TEND TO STAY AWAY FROM THERE ALSO BECAUSE THE FOOD TAKES FOREVER TO GET TO THE TABLE.
