I highly recommend visiting Dr. Fakunle. She is so professional in his field, has a nice manner to help.
The care and concern always shown me at my appointments . I try to do my best but sometimes it doesn’t seem to look like I’m trying hard enough.
She took the time to explain certain conditions and what causes them. Was very friendly and attentive.
She (Dr. Lara Fakunle) is very thorough, and I know she has my health and history as her top priority.
I was referred to Dr. Fakunle after years of issues with my blood sugar & illogical weight gain. My PCP had diagnosed me with type II diabetes. I'd just had a hip replacement due to severe arthritis. I'd suffered a lot of vague, seemingly unrelated symptoms. She took a thorough look at me, asking me lots of questions, & said - I want to get an MRI of your brain. I got the MRI. She likes to use you as a guinea pig instead of using standard proven techniques! Very rude!! Refused to fill a rx that I have been on for over 20 yrs causing horrible complications instead of tapering me off it all because she said “I dont do that”. I am seriously considering filing a complaint with the medical licensing board!
I was not a fan. Dr. Fakunle was insulting and rejected any alternate suggestion that I offered. I was having difficulty losing weight. When I told her that I had been keeping record of my dietary intake she scoffed and said "you people" eat terribly. What an elitist and racist remark for a dr to tell a patient.
refuses to work with primary Dr makes referals when told not to 4 hrs round trip for client and take over 3 weeks to discuss test results
She’s my doctor, but I rarely get to talk with her directly. Often, I am pawned off to an APRN.
