Dr. Allman is the Best in her field. I was a previously undiagnosed diabetic. One look at my foot and Dr. Allman suspected I had diabetes. She immediately ordered testing and confirmed her diagnosis. I am now well on the way to controlling my glucose levels and having my foot healed. Dr. Allman is professional, punctual and has a great personality. The front end staff, especially Nicky, is rude, unhelpful, and unapologetic. They will not return calls, call your insurance, but have no problem sending you a bill in a timely manner. I would not recommend this office due solely to the fact of the front end service, which is a shame bc Dr. Allman is decent, but she allows this behavior to happen.

I had to wait for 45 minutes to get into an examining room. I think that was due to the nurse either not being able to handle all her responsibilities or the office needing more clerical help. The nurse remarked how busy she was with phone calls but never apologized for the delay. When she saw that I was not particularly sympathetic, we had a cool interaction. I found her to be abrasive. She was dismissive of options that I had been utilizing to deal with my issue. I had scheduled with her for a second opinion after consulting with the first podiatrist. I was seen mid March, was called April 25th with the results of my x-ray, which I already accessed myself from the Penn Highlands portal. I was then asked if I wanted an insert for my shoe, which I already had AND actually showed her during my appointment. When other doctors did nothing that helped she knew exactly what to do. My ankle hasn't felt this good in years.

I went to her office a few months ago, and everyone was so friendly and helpful! The office was a little busy, but I took that as a good thing (they are thorough and people want to see them). I would definitely go back there and I recommend her to anyone!

Waited nearly an hour past my daughter's appointment time. The office seemed disorganized. After my daughter's appointment, we had to call three times to check on her follow-up and after the third time, someone called me back and asked me to remind them what my daughter's symptoms were because they had misplaced her notes. We opted to go elsewhere. We were still billed for the copay for the visit and when I disputed it, I got a notice it was being turned over to collections. Very unprofessional.
