Sounds like a class-action suit. You should report your concerns to the Salt Lake County District Attorney. My sons have not had their deposit returned to them from the organization supposedly purchasing one of their properties.
This place went out of business 8-25-2016, and ripped me off for several hundred dollars by not returning overpaid rent and my deposit when I moved out in July.
