I had high expectations for the Lapis Spa given other glowing reviews. My fiance and I had a 4pm couples massage and the experience being at the end of the day may have skewed our perspective. We arrived at the spa at 3pm to take advantage of some of their amenities. The spa amenities were average to somewhat lacking overall. Absolutely horrible service. Management did not let us go inside for day pass after spa treatment because its booked when we paid for it already. Terrible customer service.

My wife and I went for the 90-minute massage and then checked out the aufguss sauna ritual for the first time, along with the stargazing lounge (another first!), the steam room (first time!), the Himalayan salt room (first time!), aromatherapy, and the heated tepidarium chairs (first time!). I'm a big fan of cold plunges, which they had, and honestly, it was a super relaxing and amazing experience that I totally recommend

It has taken me some time to share this, but I hope it helps improve guest safety and accountability. I visited the Lapis Spa at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas in January 2025 for a gentle facial. I made it clear multiple times that I have sensitive skin and could not have redness or downtime, and I was reassured the service would be safe. During the facial, I experienced stinging and extremely painful extractions. By the time I returned to my room, my face felt like it was burning.
