I was employed by LaPadula, Carlson & Co, CPAs for over 3 years as an auditor before starting my own firm. I found the partners were always very accessible, competent, helpful, kind, and very easy to work with. They taught me how to audit and advance my professional skills. I have nothing but positive things to say about LaPadula, Carlson & Co.
To me LaPadula Carlson is a great place to learn and growth as a professional. Benefits are great and the team is amazing. I totally disagree with the comment about the partners. To me they were great, friendly, genuine and very professional. Coming from a Big 4 and other CPA firms you realize that not every partner is open to have an approach with you, at LCC, I had the opportunity to learn straight from them. Always with a good attitude and willing to teach you.
Back when I worked there over 10 years ago it was a horrible place to work because of the 3 monstrous partners. The staff I worked with were all great but the partners and especially the owner were garbage. Abusive and full of themselves as of their firm was a big 4. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy here. Hopefully things have improved but doubt it.
