I feel emotionally obligated to write this review: We sent our baby to the next life on Tuesday and Dr. Mimi made the whole process immaculate. I didn't know what to expect when she pulled in to our driveway but it genuinely left us at peace. Our baby left this world smiling and Dr. Mimi ensured we were all comfortable the whole way. Dr. Amanda did a wonderful job ushering our best friend over the rainbow bridge. I’m very satisfied with the service. However, I was not satisfied when I received my pet remains in the mail. I was told he would be in an urn. He was returned to me in a wooden box of a very poor quality. Something that you could get at the flea market.
The people I talked to one the phone were so kind, empathetic, and helpful. The resources helped me a lot and I called 3 times to figure out things and ask questions and they were patient and helpful. Stacy who came to our house was so kind and helped us through it really well. She gave us hugs and was really sweet to our dog. I'm so grateful for Lap of Love in such a hard situation. I would recommend to my friends.
We were so fortunate to have Dr. Amanda come to our home and provide the most compassionate and competent care to our much loved dog to pass over the Rainbow bridge. He was never afraid and truly passed with a peaceful goodbye with all our love surrounding him. Her calm reassurance that we were making the right call for our failing labradoodle eased our pain as she took away all of Quincy’s pain and suffering.
Our experience with Dr. Ballentine was very nurturing. She was so patient and caring and understanding with us going through such a difficult experience. She calmly talked us through the process and gave us every opportunity possibly to give our little one as many goodbyes as we could. I'm so grateful to have such kindness shown to us. It can't be an easy job to do, but I appreciate immensely what she has done for us, and she made every effort to make us feel comforted and cared for.
