just like the entirety of u m sparrow; damn near useless. have had a foley cath in me for way too long. urology forgot all about me, has not replied to my communications in weeks. sparrow e r says, see urologist. and sparrow e r put in the cath originally, didn’t sanitize the entry site, gave me a very bad urinary tract infection, hospital germs-style. sparrow urgent care won’t take the damn thing out either. i’m going to mclaren , and recommend anyone who wants proper standards of care do likewise.
Convenient
We had a really great experience here on 06/21/25. Our total wait time to get into a room was less than 20 minutes (I checked the wait times online first). My son was checked in by a friendly clerk (unfortunately, I don't remember her name). Cassandra called him in, and she was one of the friendliest medical assistants I've ever met. I like that she communicated his vitals to us. Why is that always a secret with some? It's our vitals. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I visited the University of Health Sparrow urgent care just once, and now I’m being threatened to be sent to collections over a $175 bill for services I did not consent to. I went in for a basic examination, but somehow over five different tests were billed to my insurance — none of which I agreed to. I have only seen Karrie Thomas once, and that was during this visit.
