Sorry to report that ever since the one dentist left here that this has not been a good place to go. Care is not attentive; staff is hurried, confused and disinterested. Cancellation of appointments after reschedules and months in advance is routine. NOT the place for real dental care.
THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF IS INCOMPETENT AND RUDE. THEY PUT MY OVERALL HEALTH AT RISK WITH A PERSISTENT PERIDONTAL ABCESS. THE BILLING AND INSURANCE DEPARTMENT IS NOT UP TO DATE ON CODING ETC AND SEEM TO BE INCOMPETENT . THE FRONT OFFICE STAFF HAS A HIGH TURN OVER RECENTLY. I HAVE NOT BEEN PLEASED WITH MY LAST VISITS WITH DR. ST JOHN OR MY ABSTRACTION WITH DR EGAN. I HAVE HAD A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING DENTIST TO CONTACT ME IN REGARDS TO DENTAL EMERGENCIES ECT.

When your Dentist supports the assassination of an American who was a father to two young children and a devoted husband. You might want to reconsider who you allow to treat you and your family.
I waited 3 months for an appointment. I arrived 1/2 hour early. Another person and I both had a 2pm appointment. At 2:25 the other person asked when she would be taken in, staff recommended for her to reschedule. I asked at 2:30 when I would get in, I was told not sure. But told new patients should plan for 90 minutes of which 60 minutes would be the appointment. I asked her if they allowed patient’s to show up 1/2 hr late with no charge? This place is a garbage dump. Slower than a snail on Xanax. They took out the wrong tooth. Not once but twice. Wanted to fit me for dentures when I only had 2 teeth missing. The 2 they had already pulled out. And guess what... I still need the bad tooth out. And they refuse to do any more work for me. They sure didn't have a hard time taking my money though. Scam artist scum.
If you want to have the BEST Dental Care and experience, GO TO Hollywood Park Dental at 400 N. Loop 1604E, Suite 320 (210) 494-3030. CALL FIRST to make sure they take your insurance. EVERYONE you talk to at front desk, is so CARING and ATTENTIVE. Overcharged My wife & I went for our yearly dental x-rays, which were supposed to be covered 100% by insurance. Later we received a bill from LakeWales Dentistry for hundreds of dollars which the insurance refused to pay. It seems they did some type of x-rays, that we did not authorize or approve, that were not covered by our insurance. Strangest dental visit I've ever had. A hygienist (I presume) (who spoke just above a whisper with a strong accent) (she is from Nepal) took xrays. Then behind me she discussed them with someone, again in a low voice so I couldn't hear what they were saying. Then she took another full set of xrays. Dr. Jalil came in, ran a mirror quickly around my teeth and left.
