I was initially referred to Dr. Zehr for evaluation of persistent arm pain following a workers’ compensation injury. He recommended surgery on my radial nerve. Unfortunately, after the procedure, I experienced significantly increased pain compared to before the surgery. Dr. Zehr then suggested a follow-up surgery on my ulnar nerve. Before proceeding, I sought a second opinion from orthopedic surgeon Dr. John Knight, who advised that surgery would likely worsen my condition. amazing surgeon! saved a finger of mine no one else could have. his assistant is so sweet and personable. Doc Z is more quiet and less personable, but when you need him you don’t need a friend, you need a world-renounced surgeon and he’s excellent.
Dr. Zehr is very experienced in complicated cases. His assessment was well thought out and he explained what he could do to help me regain strength and function in my arm and hand clearly. My experience at Baylor day surgery was very good. His post op care is excellent. I’m very thankful that my vascular surgeon referred me to Dr. Zehr.
