Doctor Langner is amazing. Understanding and works with me on my medication prescriptions. Always taking my opinion into consideration. I’ve seen about 6 psychiatrists and Doctor Langner is by far the best out of those. Truly can understand and empathize with a severe anxiety and depression disorder.

Rude office staff and doctor is not engaged in sessions. I always have to start as if I were a new patient.

He helped me greatly when I was a teenager in 82. Parents weren't the best and he saw that. I got the help I needed then. Thanks.

If you just want a drug dealer, Langner is great. If you want actual help and therapy, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Didn't spend more than fifteen minutes talking to me before prescribing me an absurd amount of Xanax (enough to take THREE high doses A DAY, for someone who had never taken anything similar before) and some Lexepro. Each subsequent appointment lasted 10 minutes tops and included no actual therapy, simply checking in on how the medication was going. Over the many years I have been with Dr. Langner, he has always been very reliable and incredibly helpful with my issues. He is genuinely concerned with my problems and always has very unique insight. The office is in a house, but that makes it a bit home-like feeling. He might be a little eccentric, which I actually like and makes me feel things are not just cookie-cutter with him. Recommend him highly.

I was with him for six months. Whenever he doesn't understand why something adverse happened to you, he just starts blaming you. He doesn't understand that society has changed since the time from when he was young. If something you experienced conflicts with his established worldview, he'll simply doubt you, and move forward. He'll also raise his voice with you, in order to pressure you to conform to his views.

There is no real waiting room, his “office” is half of the first floor of a house and looks like a library. He had no desk, just an armchair, and he wasn’t even wearing shoes! The entire place reeked of sandalwood and patchouli. Moreover, he was easily confused and very slow on the uptake. I just moved into the area and need a doctor to just take up where my last doc left off. Langner wasn’t willing to do that. He wanted us to form a “connection”, whatever that means. Nightmare appointment.

I have been a patient from 2011-present. Up until a few months ago everything was good. Dr. started questioning why I was upset then mocked it by making sexually inappropriate comments. Also just recently I called/emailed to schedule an appointment. No response for a week. I was going on 2 days without Effexor. I finally went to urgent care for an emergency prescription and scheduled a appointment with a new psychiatrist. I would not recommend to anyone. Patient abandonment is unacceptable.
