Stewart Langley Properties This rental group is the worst kind of vicious theives. I strongly advise never renting any property from them!!!! I intend to let their actions of late and how they have treated me be known everywhere. They are trying to strong arm me into staying another year here. In the three years I have lived here, the A/C has been broken twice, the refrigerator broke twice, my washing machine backs up in to my shower every single time I use it (after it was *fixed* 3 times) and currently my oven does not work properly and they are refusing to replace it. My windows were painted shut on my move in (Sept) and I didn't realize it until I tried to open them when my a/c broke the next summer. I just love how my mother wasn't sued for a judgment until AFTER the fire that killed that couple. Several pipes broke in the apartment over the FIVE years she lived there, but he sued her for the damaged because has had failed to maintain proper plumbing and electrical standards. This judgment haunts her. I hope you are proud of suing a widowed senior citizen. God hates ugly and they proved themselves to be quite ugly.
Great Place, Beautiful Properties!
During the June 29 2012 power outages, we lost power and water. Langley Rentals made no attempt to contact us, (the property that we rent is secluded) and expressed no concern for our well-being. Finally, they showed up unannounced to tell us that we need to be prepared for an inspection of our refrigerator the following day. At this time, temperatures were in the 100's outside and little cooler indoors, and we had no running water. This apartment complex is located conveniently near US 501 and Timberlake. As "Lynchburgers" know, Timberlake is referred to as the other side of town. From this apartment complex I could get to Liberty/Thomas Road etc. in less than 10 minutes and also to the Waterlick area on the farthest end of Timberlake in less than ten minutes. Very quiet.
