I had a disappointing experience working with Mr. Lang. Throughout the process, I found his demeanor to be condescending and dismissive, which made it uncomfortable for me to ask questions or seek clarification on important matters. Prior to closing, I sent an email requesting a copy of my closing statement and asked that the proceeds be directed to me. Unfortunately, I never received a response. If I could rate negative stars I would. My grandmother used this man as her lawyer to handle her very small estate after she passed away. I have spent the past year and a half trying to finalize her estate and be done with this. This lawyer and his secretary should have retired YEARS ago. How many times must you provide the same information to be asked for it yet AGAIN every time you ask for an update. Vaughn Lang is one of the most knowledgeable and by the book attorneys in Central NY when it comes to real estate law. If you’re looking for an attorney that leaves no stone unturned and makes sure all of your bases are covered then Vaughn is your guy. Some unconventional methods for real estate investors and those who want quick closes while skipping due diligence won’t have a good time working with Vaughn. He is skilled and experienced and will only work one way.
Thank god I NEVER had to actually do business with this so called lawyer. This is the most unprofessional and subpar experience I've had. I am embarrassed and disgusted by his unresponsiveness and unprofessionalism. He never actually returned my phone call til this day. When asked for a call back, he instead had his secretary or assistant call to tell me he is working on my documents. I strongly believe he wasn't working on anything. There are way too many options for you to choose this so called lawyer.
