I agree with other comments Dr Lane was very rude and condescending Spent more time talking into his recorder in jumbo nonsense that I couldn’t understand than speaking to me in understanding way. I had nose surgery for multiple breathing issues and have been soooo much worse ever since.
Made an appt. with Dr. Lane due to vertigo, snoring, nasal issues per dentist recomm. I called the office & they stated needed a doctor's referral, so $45 spent & got a referral. I arrived to my appt which was scheduled in the am and had to pay $380+ before I even saw Dr. Lane. I then waited an hour to see him. From there I met with the Dr. Lane in which he talked into his recorder for most of the time and the told me there was nothing wrong. I ended up getting billed $800+ for a 15 min visit.
He was very rude to me from the moment he walked in the door. After several tests coming up clear..he said word for word my best advice is to just deal with it since I can get to the bottom of it He asked me the symptoms I had as in ear pain and I told him I could feel the pain go from my ear towards the back of my head and he replied did I ask you to tell me about head pain or ear pain? He is very rude to his staff too and they are so nice! I would never recommend this guy!!
Dr. Lane's PA, Nicole, looked at me first and she was extremely friendly and a good listener, however, my case is very complicated so Dr. Lane needed to see me as well. He was very brash and could care less about anything I said. He acted as though everything I told him I pulled out of thin air and was flat out rude. He belittled Nicole in front of me to the point where I felt uncomfortable being in her presence. Considering he knows my parents and brother I was shocked to say the least.
I did not find him very personable and condescending. Maybe this was due to not recognizing that mostly all the pictures hung in his office were painted by him. I had been trying for 3 weeks to get him to sign a form that Costco needed and although his assistant stated that he would sign it, it never was signed. This may be due to the fact (only guessing) that his office offers hearing aid between $5 to $6,000 while Costco offers them for under $2,000 for the same technology. Not professional.
